autoACsystems and You!
A brief word about security

We wanted to take this opportunity to address issues of web site security and autoACsystems.com. You should know that we take issues of security and your privacy very seriously because autoACsystems is our business, not a school project. With respect to privacy, from the start we published a comprehensive privacy policy and, in short, you can rest assured that we never have, nor ever will, sell any of the e-mail lists or other information we gather.

Regarding security, over the last year we have had some questions about downloading files and eBooks from our site. We wanted to clarify and confirm these issues. First of all, all of our systems run daily anti virus scans. When we say anti-virus scans, they include scans for spy ware, ad ware, trojans and every other nasty bug out there. In order to maintain the most up to the minute protection, we can’t rely on typical off the shelf software. We use a web based service that automatically updates our threat protection daily. Yes, daily! Even though most of the viruses out there don’t make mainstream news, there are new threats almost every day. Using daily threat updates and scans is the only way we can assure you that our systems are ‘clean’ and free of any internet threats. In fact, our daily updates are providing protection from threats that you probably haven’t even heard about yet. For your security and peace of mind, we wanted you to know that when it comes to security, we always have and always will take the matter very seriously.

Having said that, it’s also important for us to explain some of the questions we have received about eBooks. You may not know, but virtually every eBook on the internet is formatted in an executable file. (*.exe). Our eBook manuals (full version and trial versions) are the same. The eBook format allows us to assemble all the various information, photos, files and pdf WIZ Charts™ into one, compact and easy to download file. The eBook format includes it’s own ‘browser’ too. That means with one download, you’re ready to go. You never require any other software.

You should be aware of this because in some cases, your own anti-virus software may alert you to a possible threat. We assure you that the eBooks and information you download from autoACsystems.com have been scanned with up to the minute virus protection before being uploaded and are free of any internet threat.

Should you have any questions about security or eBooks, please do not hesitate to contact our support team directly. We welcome your comments.

(Our current anti-virus provider is Stop-Sign by eAcceleration. You can visit them at http://www.stop-sign.com).
